FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- A police pursuit ended when a car crashed into a house on the southeast side of Fort Wayne.
Both of the vehicle's occupants are in serious condition.
Fort Wayne Police say the pursuit began when the Gang Unit tried to pull over a 1995 Camaro for a speeding violation in the area of Holton and Fisher Streets around 9:30 p.m. Monday.
The driver then led officers south down Holton St. and slammed into a utility pole in the 3200 block of Holton St. before running into a nearby home on the corner of Holton St. and Drexel Ave.
The impact forced the front porch's roof off the structure, and it landed on top of the car.
Two men inside the car were taken to a hospital after one was pinned and had to be extracted from the car.
Police say they recovered a gun inside the car.
No arrests have been made.
The incident is still under investigation.
