January 26, 2014 Updated Jan 26, 2014 at 5:02 PM EST

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – According to the Fort Wayne Department of Public Works, plow trucks are now heading into neighborhoods.

Fort Wayne Street Department crews moved to residential streets Sunday afternoon.

A department representative says plow trucks will work through the night clearing snow from neighborhood streets.

Residents who park on the street are encouraged to move their vehicles so that trucks can get as close curb as possible.
