Plea Extension Granted For Ronnie Jones

DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - A DeKalb County judge extended the plea deadline in a local New Year's Day 2010 murder case.

Ronnie Jones of Fort Wayne is charged with murdering Melissa Patrick in a home on the north side of Auburn.

Jones also is charged with the attempted murder of his ex-wife, along with three others, in a home south of Waterloo later the same day.

The case will be tried later this month.

Jury selection will be July 25th, with the trial scheduled to begin July 26th.
