Wabash County, IN (Indiana's NewsCenter) --- New charges have been filed in the Scott Pattison murder case, but this time, it’s not Pattison himself who’s in trouble.
Stacey Henderson, his former lover who testified for hours in the Wabash County murder trial, has been tagged with a felony perjury charge.
The Wabash County jail confirms she posted $9,000 bail.
She had her first court appearance on Wednesday.
The allegation is that her testimony during the trial, which was apparently truthful, didn't square with a statement she provided under oath to police in an earlier deposition.
Meanwhile, we now know the day Pattison will learn his punishment for killing his wife with a weighted barbell.
He faces a sentencing hearing December 3rd.
A 12-member jury returned a guilty verdict Tuesday evening after deliberating about eight hours.
Pattison said nothing on his way back to the jail.
He dropped his head, however, when he heard the decision announced in court.
Pattison maintained that he came home July 2nd of 2009 to find his wife Lisa under a weighted barbell, blue and not breathing.
The jury did not buy that story, in part, because home security camera video showed he lied about what time he got home.
Lisa Pattison's father was relieved by the result, but he wasn't totally confident waiting to hear the jury’s decision.
Jerry Young/Lisa Pattison's Father: " It scared the hell out of me. It's like the last moment and then you're sitting watching, and then you go up to that room and the jury comes out and a tremendous amount of pressure was on you and your family."
Pattison will get somewhere between 45 and 60 years for the crime.
It’s not clear if he will appeal the guilty verdict.
