FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – The Allen County Coroner has identified both men found shot to death in the 3000 block of Holton Avenue Thursday.

Officials say 29-year-old Aaron Jamell Thomas of Fort Wayne and 38-year-old Sredrick Jones of Fort Wayne were declared dead by gunshot wound.

Fort Wayne Police are continuing to investigate why Thomas and Jones were killed.

Police were called to Holton Avenue Thursday afternoon after receiving a "problem unknown call," which means officers did not know what type of situation they were responding to.

They found Thomas dead in the backyard and Jones found dead inside the home.

While searching the home, officers also found a baby unharmed.

That child is now under protective custody with child services.

Police do not think anyone else was home when the shootings took place.

No suspects have been named at this time.

However, Indiana's NewsCenter saw investigators taking pictures of tire tracks at the corner of Holton Avenue and Colerick Street.

We will continue to update this case as information is released.
