One Dead, Two Injured In NW Indiana Fertilizer Plant Explosion (VIDEO)

UNION MILLS, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) – One person is confirmed dead and two are being treated for injuries after a fertilizer plant explosion in northwest Indiana.

James Swank, 67, was killed in the explosion at the Union Mills Grain plant.

Kevin Still, the companies CEO says, “This is a profound loss for our co-op family. Our thoughts and prayers are with James and his family during this very difficult time”.

This death was confirmed by the LaPorte County Sheriff’s Department during their investigation of the explosion at the Union Mills Co-op.

Local reports indicate that all other people involved in the incident have been located after the explosion Monday afternoon.
