One Cart Recycling Program Starts Saturday

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Beginning January 1st residents in Fort Wayne will no longer have to separate your recyclables.

The City of Fort Wayne’s Solid Waste Management Department will start it's one cart recycling program, which means you can throw your paper, plastic and glass all in one container.

Curbside pickup, at no extra charge, will be collected every two weeks.

If you still haven't applied for a new recycling bin you can do so by calling 311 for details.
