Officer Suspended For Un-Cuffing A Suspect

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) -A Fort Wayne officer involved in a scuffle with a suspect back in September has served a five day suspension without pay for improper conduct.

Officer Derrick Demorest served the suspension after he admitted to un-handcuffing Terrell Brown. This led to the physical altercation.

Officer Demorest suffered injuries to his face after Brown bit Demorest during the altercation.
