Northrop PTSA Deemed Best In Country

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Northrop High School's PTSA was awarded the first "School of Excellence" award Tuesday.

National PTA president, Otha Thornton presented the Northrop PTSA, that has 660 members, with the award Tuesday and declared that Northrop has the best PTA in the country.

Fort Wayne area PTA Council President, Kathie Green, thanks Northrop's Principal, Barb Ahlersmeyer, for her leadership and the PTSA for developing partnerships between the school and families.
