UNDATED (www.incnow.tv) – When it was all said and done President Obama received a second term in office.
Before midnight, the President was the projected winner even with some major battleground states still outstanding.
The President had gained the 270 electoral votes, needed to win.
Aides say Mr. Obama's first phone call after receiving the news was to former President, Bill Clinton.
The President seemed humble after receiving a phone call from Gov. Mitt Romney.
"We're not as divided as our politics suggest. We're not as cynical as the pundits believe. We are greater than the sum of our individual ambitions and we remain more than a collection of red states and blue states. We are and forever will be the United States of America!,” says President Obama.
Romney graciously noted his defeat with a realization of the troubles the country faces.
"The nation, as you know, is at a critical point. At a time like this, we can't risk partisan bickering and political posturing. Our leaders have to reach across the aisle to do the people's work," said Romney.
The President won with slim majorities in the key states of Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Iowa, Colorado and New Hampshire.
The result of the 2012 Presidential Election is expected to have a large impact not only for the United States but internationally as well. The winner is expected to affect the destiny of the world.
