INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) – Governor Mike Pence appointed a new Allen County Superior Court judge on Monday.

Craig J. Bobay was appointed the role of Allen County Superior judge to fill the role formally held by Judge Stephen M.

"Craig Bobay is uniquely qualified to serve on the Allen County Superior Court, a court system in which he has played a valuable and integral role for more than 20 years," said Governor Pence. "I am confident Craig's academic background, experience, integrity, and heart for his community will enable him to continue to be a strong leader for Allen County and Indiana as he assumes his new role as Superior Court Judge."

The Allen County Judicial Nominating Commission submitted Bobay's name along with two others to Governor Pence for his consideration and appointment.

Sims, who was awarded the Sagamore after his retirement in April of 2013, had been a member of the Allen County justice system for over 31 years.
