FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- The Mustard Seed Furniture Bank received a first-of-its-kind shipment. 50 brand new dressers will be provided to community families who have experienced a catastrophic situation.

They received the dressers through a partnership with a furniture bank in central Ohio for a furniture build program. The chosen families are referred by a social service, faith-based group, church or school.

"We've never received a donation of 50 dressers, let alone 50 new dressers so this is really a blessing to our organization," Mustard Seed Executive Director, Suzie Jordan told 21Alive.

Other Mustard Seed needs include chairs, dining and kitchen tables along with queen and full size box springs, mattresses and new bed pillows.

They ask that all donations be free of rips, tears, stains and animal hair and are in working order. You can deliver them to the Mustard Seed off Illinois Rd. Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
