Murderer & Hostage-Taker Had A History Of Criminal Activity (VIDEO & PHOTOS)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- Wednesday's hostage situation rocked Fort Wayne and now that the horrific event is over, more is being explained about the people involved.

Kenneth Knight pulled 49-year-old Jackie Hardy off a Citilink bus around 8 a.m. Wednesday morning and shot her in front of several other people, including children waiting on the school bus.

Since the events, 21Alive has learned that Knight had an extensive criminal background, dating back to 1991 when he pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and resisting law enforcement. Other charges include carrying a handgun without a license, dealing cocaine and a domestic violence charge among others.
