Police Find 90 Pounds Of Pot During Traffic Stop (VIDEO)

LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. (21Alive) -- A Washington state man was arrested last Friday after an Indiana State Police Officer found almost 90lbs in his vehicle.

The incident happened around 1:30 p.m. along the Indiana Toll Road in the area of mile marker 111.8. David Crane Pemberton, 59, of Mount Vernon, Washington was pulled over for failing to move over when he passed a Toll Road maintenance vehicle and worker on the side of the roadway. Violating Indiana's "Move Over" law.

An Indiana State Trooper pulled Pemberton over and after a brief conversation called for backup, including a K-9 unit. The K-9 alerted police to multiple packages of Marijuana in the car totaling up to 87lbs, along with 1076 grams of marijuana wax.

He was charged with dealing and possession of marijuana (more than 10 pounds).
