Mourdock Speaks at Allen County GOP Headquarters

May 9, 2012 Updated Dec 4, 2013 at 6:17 PM EST

Fort Wayne, IN (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Richard Mourdock is making his first victory stop in the Summit City.

Jeff Neumeyer is at the Allen County GOP Headquarters at noon, where Mourdock will address the crowd.

Mourdock set himself apart from Dick Lugar by running on a platform of strict fiscal conservatism and a belief that partisanship, not bi-partisanship is the way to correcting economic issues in the country.

Wednesday morning on Fox News, Mourdock said "I have a mindset that says bi-partisanship ought to consist of Democrats coming to the Republcian point of view."

Mourdock will face Democrat Joe Donnelly for Lugar's Senate seat in November.

Donnelly is someone many consider a moderate Democrat, someone who might not have had a shot against Lugar, but someone who can be juxtaposed well with Mourdock.
