Motorcade Escorts Body Of Fallen Indy Police Officer

INDIANAPOLIS (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - About one hundred police officers took part in a motorcade early Thursday morning to escort the body of Officer David Moore from the hospital to the coroner's office.

Officer Moore was shot on Sunday morning during a traffic stop; he died early Wednesday morning after being taken off life support.

The man accused of shooting Officer Moore, 60-year-old Thomas Hardy, has been preliminarily charged with murder in the case.
