Mercer County, OHIO (www.incnow.tv) – A Montezuma firefighter was arrested Monday evening and charged with four counts of Child Endangerment.

38-year-old Michael Jason Buschur of Celina, Ohio is accused of using a grill lighter on a number of children ranging from 7- 13-years of age and inappropriate touching.

Buschur is current member of the Montezuma Fire Department and a past part time police officer with the Village of St. Henry where he resigned early in 2012. Officials have no reason to believe the offenses are related to Mr. Buschur’s status on the Fire Department or him being a former police officer.

Buschur was booked into the Adult Detention Facility, where he later posted bond. Buschur is expected to appear in Municipal Court on November 9, 2012 at 9:00 AM to answer to the charges.
