FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Starting Monday, there will be significant changes to traffic on Clinton Street heading into downtown Fort Wayne.

The road's far right lane was scheduled to shut down between State and Elizabeth on Friday but that's been delayed until Monday because of the snow.

Crews have to move a gas line to get ready for the upcoming project to straighten Clinton and replace the bridge over the Spy Run Creek.

And Clinton is also set to close at the Martin Luther King Bridge, Monday, so crews can begin building the steel truss.

You'll have to use 4th, Harrison and Superior Streets to detour around the project for a couple weeks.
