FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- For three weeks, 20 middle schoolers have been creating an original musical, all part of the SCORE! program at the Embassy. The musical will be presented this Saturday, July 27at 2pm.

The students are available for interviews to talk about their experience. They are an enthusiastic, talented group of pre-teens who would love to share all they have learned.

They created every aspect of this production, including marketing materials. Here is the press release they wrote about their performance:

The Embassy Theatre proudly presents a Next Generation Theatre Company production: The Stalemate, an original world premiere opera for all ages on July 27 at 2 p.m.

Everyone is invited to attend an original opera at the Embassy Theatre conceived, written and performed by a group of 22 middle school kids from all around Fort Wayne, Indiana, who were brought together by the SCORE! program in its inaugural year.

Standard ticket price is just $7 with a special discount for senior citizens (65 and older) and children (6 and under) for only $5. A group pass of up to six is $30. VIP passes will include a CD, backstage pass and a front row seat for just $20.

“The Stalemate” is a world premiere original opera taken from the life experiences of middle-school artists. Come and reminisce on your school days in junior high. Compare and contrast the past and present generations on the climb of the school social ladder.
