1st Fort Wayne Mayoral Debate Focusing On South Side Issues

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – On Saturday, October 29th, several leaders in the community will be hosting a Mayoral Debate that will highlight issues on the south side of town.

Reverend Michael Latham & Fort Wayne Urban League CEO Jonathan Ray have invited all the mayoral candidates to the Public Safety Academy to discuss south side issues and other issues affecting the entire city of Fort Wayne.

Independent Candidate Haley Ahrendt, Republican Candidate Paula Hughes and Incumbent Democrat Mayor Tom Henry are all expected to attend.

The debate will be open to the public and begins at 3 p.m.

The Public Safety Academy is located at 7602 Patriot Crossing behind the Southtown Centre Wal-Mart.
