Man Breaks Both Legs In Moped Crash, Other Driver Arrested (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- A man is in serious condition after the moped he was on collided with another vehicle at the intersection of State Boulevard and Hillegas Road Wednesday night.

It happened shortly after 11:30PM. Officers arrived at the scene to find a badly injured man just feet away from the mangled remains of a moped.

Medics on the scene tell us the victim broke both his legs in the crash. He was rushed to a hospital in serious condition.

Allen County sheriff deputies placed the other driver, Kellie Donnelly, under arrest but the charges were later dismissed. No details on why the arrest was made.

It has not been determined if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
