FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - We now know the name of the man shot and killed Monday night outside a Fort Wayne bar.
The Allen County Coroner's Office says 23-year-old Justin Lanell Bush died from a gunshot wound. Two others were injured during the shooting, near Glenbrook Mall.
Police were called to Mookies Bar on Clinton Street around 11:15 pm Monday night on reports of shots fired.
23-year-old Bakari Dean is hospitalized in serious condition and 26-year-old Britteny Sanders was last listed in fair condition.
Investigators are questioning witnesses as they piece together what happened.
Police say an officer, responding to a noise complaint there, heard multiple gunshots in the bar. Shortly after that, dispatchers were flooded with calls about the shooting.
Officials estimate about 200 people were in the bar at the time, and say the gunfire sparked "chaos."
Officer Raquel Foster says, “We have a female who's hiding in the bathroom calling in reporting shots fired, another individual calling stating that he himself has been shot// People running out of the establishment into the parking lot obviously fleeing the disturbance that's inside. It was complete chaos."
The slain man's identity has not yet been released.
