FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- A man was critically injured this morning when he wrapped his vehicle around a pole.
Fort Wayne Police responded to East Washington and Francis just after 12:30. Emergency personnel had to work to free the man from the wreckage. Witnesses told 21Alive that the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed moments before the crash.
Police say the 29-year-old driver had a blood alcohol content of .24, which is three times the legal limit.
