COLUMBUS, Ind. (www.theindychannel.com) -- A man was killed when the tractor he was driving tipped over on an incline and crushed him, police in Columbus said.
Bartholomew County sheriff's Maj. Todd Noblitt said the man was cutting grass and vegetation on land northeast of Columbus when he was fatally injured Monday evening.
The tractor was pulling a bush hog to clear the area on a 45- to 50-degree incline, The Republic reported.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity wasn't immediately released.
