FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Police are requesting the public's assistance in locating Jacinto A. Barrios, 31, who is a suspect wanted for questioning in a homicide where a man died after being struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of Las Lomas.

The Allen County Coroner declared the death of Marco Vinas-Herran, 31, of Fort Wayne a homicide earlier Friday.

Fort Wayne police have been searching for the driver of a vehicle that hit Vinas-Herran in a restaurant parking lot and then fled.

It was around 6:30 a.m. Monday when someone walking in the 2200 block of Fairfield noticed a man lying in the parking lot of Las Lomas Mexican Grill and called police.

The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition and later died of blunt force trauma.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Jacinto A. Barrios is asked to call 427-1222 or Crime Stoppers at 436-STOP (7867).
