KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- An Ohio man has passed away from injuries he sustained when he dove head first off a boat striking his head on a shallow sandbar in Big Chapman Lake.

Bradley Heyne, 26, was swimming with friends when he decided to make the dive. According to police, other boaters quickly pulled Heyne to shore and performed CPR. Heyne was unresponsive.

Heyne was transported to a local hospital where he died at 7:00 a.m. Monday.
