FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- A man led police on a chase in a stolen SUV on Fort Waye's northside late Thursday night and investigators say the man was a "walk away" from work-release.

It all began around 8 p.m. at the B.P. Station at Lima and Washington Center. Police say Brian Isaac stole a parked SUV, sped down Carroll Rd., crashing into a house across the street from Carroll High School, put the SUV in reverse, rammed into a squad car and got out and ran off.

Officers caught him and took him into custody. No one was seriously hurt.
