Man Admits Guilt To April Attempted Robbery

Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- 60 year old James Howell has admitted guilt in the attempted robbery of the Chase Bank Branch at Southgate Plaza this past April. Howell pleaded guilty to two counts of robbery.

Police say when the attempted robbery of the bank failed he went to a near-by liquor store where he punched a cashier and stole money.

Howell will be sentenced September 17th.
