Man Accused Of Bank Robbery Arrested By FBI (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - A Fort Wayne man is now behind bars on federal arrest warrants for bank robbery related crimes.

Christopher Seals, 22, was taken into custody by the FBI Thursday morning without a problem from an apartment off Bowser Ave.

Seals is accused of robbing a PNC Bank off Coventry Lane on Feb. 14 and the attempted robbery of the Three Rivers Credit Union off Bluffton Rd. on Mar. 16.

Robert A. Jones, Special Agent in Charge of the Indianapolis Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, announced the arrest Thursday.

Seals was taken to the Allen County lock up and charged with bank robbery, weapons violation and possession of a weapon while committing a crime.

This investigation was conducted by the FBI Fort Wayne Safe Streets Task Force and the FBI Northeast Indiana Federal Bank Robbery Task Force. Both task forces are comprised of FBI agents and officers from the Indiana State Police, Allen County Police Department, and Fort Wayne Police Department. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives also participates in the Northeast Indiana Federal Bank Robbery Task Force.
