FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - A Warsaw man charged with forcing a woman into a car at gunpoint and forcing her to perform sex acts in the Glenbrook Mall parking lot has asked for a Public Defender.

26-year-old Aaron Prater is charged with three Class-A felonies: kidnapping, and two counts of criminal deviate conduct, as well as Class-D resisting law enforcement.

Police say he accosted a female mall employee as she left the building the afternoon of June 23rd.

Court records say Prater walked up to the woman's car, showed what appeared to be a handgun, forced her to let him in and had her perform a sex act on him.

When other cars parked nearby, documents say Prater made her drive to another location, get in the back seat and perform another sex act.

The woman had dialed 911 during the initial incident and left the phone line open, allowing police to find them.

Prater took off on foot, but was subdued by the officer.

Inside the vehicle, they found the weapon, which turned out to be a bb gun.

Prater's next scheduled court appearance will be July 13th.

Prater was also arrested last fall after soliciting a prostitute that turned out to be an undercover officer.
