FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- Parents of Bishop Luers students have not received any communication from the school about the status of the investigation or even why Coach Lindsay was fired.

Via email, Bishop Luers parents were forwarded copies of Sunday night's statement from the diocese and school that Coach Lindsay had been fired.

But parents have not been sent the statement released Wednesday night detailing that Lindsay was fired for having a "large number of inappropriate video clips" on his computer.

We tried to reach school leaders Thursday today to ask them what they're telling parents about the investigation or whether their students were the ones in those video clips.

But they were all out of town for a series of meetings and did not return repeated requests for comment.

Some parents we talked to were understandably highly protective of their students, but shared support for the school.

"I don't know enough yet, really. I think everything they've said has been... I mean, it's just too ambiguous to jump to any conclusions at this point. So I'm not giving it a lot of extra thought," says Bishop Luers parent Julie Connolly.

However, many parents say they're concerned their student might appear in one of the video clips found on the coach's computer -- and they're worried that the clips may have been shared on the internet.

That's information they still did not have as of Thursday night.

We were told Bishop Rhoades will not be making any comments about the issue.
