Luers Celebrates Girls Basketball Championship Win

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Congratulations to the Bishop Luers Lady Knights for another basketball champions.

Saturday, the Luers girls beat Brownstown Central 59- 46 to win the 2A state title.

And Monday afternoon the girls were honored during a pep rally at the high school.

This is the team's sixth championship, and the first since 2006.

All four Indiana girls high school basketball championship games were played at the Memorial Coliseum this weekend.
