FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) – It's an opportunity of a lifetime for a local tattoo artist, having her talent featured nationwide on a cable television show.

Teresa Sharpe, 27, is the winner of "Best Ink Season 2", a reality show featured on the Oxygen Network. Her win was announced Wednesday night during the season finale. For her talent in tattoo art, she was awarded the title of "Best Ink," will be featured on the cover of "Tattoo Magazine," and will receive $100,000.

Originally from Warsaw, Sharpe says she’s been working at Studio 13 Tattoo, 4720 Parnell Ave, Fort Wayne, for five years. But for the past several months she’s been appearing on “Best Ink Season 2."

Sharpe was one of three finalists on the reality show.

Wednesday night was season finale of “Best Ink Season 2” and Sharpe says it’s “nerve racking” to watch to see if she wins.

"We [the contestants] don't see any of the stuff before,” she said. “We don't know how they'll edit things, we don't know how they'll put it together, so there's just a lot of questions. I don't know what's going to get used, what's not going to get used. I'm definitely in suspense."

Win or lose, Sharpe says she has plans to go on tours and is looking forward to spending time in at home working on projects.
