FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - The first Red Cross volunteer deployed from Fort Wayne to help survivors of those deadly tornadoes in Alabama a few weeks ago is going back.

Sylvia Christian just got home last week, but leaves Wednesday afternoon to fly to Birmingham, Alabama.

More than 300-people died at the end of last month, especially in Tuscaloosa, when a series of tornadoes struck the college town.
