Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- The Chick-Fil-A at Jefferson Pointe was packed with people most of the day in support of a statement made by the CEO on his views of marriage.

The line to get inside had been getting so long that it has been crossing with the drive thru lane so they started looping the line around back toward the door.

At the Glenbrook Mall Chick-Fil-A, we're told more than a hundred people were lined up around lunchtime.

FOX News' Mike Huckabee started this effort by declaring Wednesday Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day.

It comes after the fast food chains owner was criticized by many for his stance on marriage. The CEO publicly stated he supports the "biblical definition of the family unit" meaning marriage between a man and a woman.
