Law Day Awards Recognize Extrodinary Officers & Civilians

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- The Allen County Sheriff's Department holds Law Day Awards annually in May.

The purpose of the ceremony is to recognize not only law enforcement officers that do extraordinary work but also recognize civilians that go above and beyond.

Officers and civilians are nominated by people in the department or within the general public. There are several different awards that can be given out after submissions are reviewed.

This year's Law Day Award Recipients include:
