Latino Student Assemblies Promote College After High School (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Several speakers were at South Side High School Tuesday morning for an event, sponsored by "Latinos Count", to promote attending college after high school.

More than 400 Latino students heard from the Associate Director of Admissions at Indiana University, Larry Gonzalez, a South Side graduate and Director of Sales Engagement and Administration at DePuy Synthes, Alfredo Perez and from Angelo Mathay with the National Immigration Law Center.

Gonzalez spoke on the college admissions process, Perez shared his testimonial and Mathay spoke on hope for undocumented students..
