Lane Restrictions Begin Friday On Jefferson Blvd. At Harrison Square Site

November 16, 2011 Updated Nov 16, 2011 at 9:25 PM EST

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – Starting Friday November 18th, the two south lanes of Jefferson Boulevard between Ewing and Webster Streets will be closed to all eastbound traffic.

The lane restrictions are part of the Harrison project at that location. Crews will be removing gravel and other debris so work can begin at the site.

The lane restrictions will continue through April of 2012 weather permitting.

The city is encouraging motorists to find alternate routes due to congestion in the area especially during rush hours.
