Jenkins Funeral Service: Saturday At Belmont High School

DECATUR, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - We now know details about a memorial service and funeral plans for a Decatur soldier killed in Iraq.

26-year-old Staff Sergeant Phillip Jenkins was killed in action, September 7th.

A public visitation will be held Saturday from 10- 2pm at Belmont High School.

A private funeral will follow.

The Jenkins' family is asking residents to line the sidewalks along Monroe Street.

He is survived by a wife and two daughters.
