It's Out Of The Park, TinCaps Hit Home Run Opening Day

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - A home run, down at Parkview Field Thursday night as season number three got under way for the Fort Wayne TinCaps.

Around 7,100 people came out for opening day 2011.

The fans were treated to new amenities, including the new 3D elements on the scoreboard.

Team officials say it's a great start to season number three and they've got a lot to live up to.

The TinCaps are back in action against South Bend, Friday night with the first pitch at 7:05 and you can catch the TinCaps at home this weekend, both Saturday and Sunday.
