Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – Many traffic signals around the area are out thanks to Friday’s severe thunder storm that blew through causing significant damage.

The follow intersections are reportedly without a traffic signal:

Sherman/ Spring
Sherman/ High
Sherman/ Washington
Sherman/ Jefferson
Harrison/ Baker
Hillegas/ Coliseum
Hillegas/ Butler
Hillegas/ Independence
Coliseum/ Clinton

INDOT has nearly all its crews out to remove trees.

For the intersections where the signals are not working, INDOT is asking motorists to treat them as 4-way stops. They are also asking motorists to drive with caution as debris could be in trees and could still enter the roadway.

Until the electricity is back on INDOT cannot reprogram signals.
