Indianapolis Shooting Injures Three

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (21Alive) -- Three people were seriously injured after an early Sunday morning shooting on the north side of Indianapolis.

Medical staff at an Indianapolis hospital reported the shooting after the three victims walked into the emergency room suffering from gunshot wounds, police said.

Dispatchers from the Indianapolis Metro Police Department said the shooting possibly occurred near 33rd Street and Central Avenue.

The victims were said to be hospitalized in serious condition. Police chose to keep the name of the hospital confidential in order to protect the victims and to help officers with the shooting investigation.
