INDIANAPOLIS (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - The maximum sentence was the handed down in an Indianapolis murderer with a connection to Fort Wayne.
A judge gave Robert Williams the maximum of 95-years for the September 2009 stabbing death of Indianapolis teacher Sandy Bartenbach.
Family members of Fort Wayne murder victim Pete Woods remain convinced Williams is responsible for that killing back in 1994, though he was never charged.
