ATLANTA, GA (21Alive) -- The NFL owners decided where the Superbowl will be played in 2018, and it won't be Indianapolis.

The owners decided after three cities made their pitches today for why their city would be the best host city for the gridiron's biggest game of the year. Indianapolis bid against New Orleans and Minneapolis, with Minneapolis ultimately winning out. Indianapolis placed third in the overall voting.

Minneapolis will have a brand new stadium for Superbowl LII when it takes place in 2018.
