INDIANA (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - A hearing has been scheduled for February 2nd on a bill that would lead to an Arizona style crackdown on illegal immigration in the Hoosier state.
The proposal being considered would require police to ask for proof of citizenship or immigration status if they suspect the person is here illegally.
The bill would also require state documents to be issued in English only in most cases.
