HUNTERTOWN, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- The Huntertown town council could have another full house tonight with residents wanting to discuss controversial plans for a new sewage plant.

Fort wayne officials have been asked to attend tonight's meeting.

Huntertown leaders are pushing to build a new $11 million wastewater treatment facility so the town can break from Fort Wayne's plant and avoid an expected large rate hike in 2013.

The council has been looking at buying a site on Hathaway Road for the new plant, but farmers have expressed concerns that discharge from the facility will cause increased flooding along the nearby Geller Ditch.

The meeting is set to start at six p.m. at the Huntertown town hall.
