INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Donations are being accepted for a new fund created to benefit the victims of Saturday, August 13th's tragic stage collapse at the Indiana State Fair.

Six people, including 23-year-old Alina Bigjohny of Ft. Wayne, were killed and 45 others were injured when the stage toppled into a crowd of fans waiting for country music band Sugarland to perform.

The State Fair Commission, working with the Central Indiana Community Foundation established the Victims Remembrance Fund.

Money will be used to support the victims and their families.

As of Friday, August 19th, CICF has received $107,000 in donations via checks, online donations, texts, cash and transfers.

This figure DOES NOT include the proceeds from the Train/Maroon 5 concert at Conseco Fieldhouse Thursday, August 18th. Those figures are not yet available.

Donations can be made online.
