Indiana (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Fireworks sales have gone down in the Hoosier state because of the hot, dry weather.

In Indiana, 84 counties now have burn bans in place, which means shooting off fireworks is prohibited.

Retailers who traditionally make plenty of money on firework sales say business is down compared to last year.

The Indiana Fireworks Distributors Association says it believes counties are overstepping their boundaries by prohibiting personal use of fireworks, but a spokesman says the group won't go to court to stop the bans.
