FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- Police discovered a meth lab accompanied by a homemade PVC bomb inside a Fort Wayne home Friday afternoon.

Police raided a home on the 4600 block of Woodway Dr. on the northeast side of Fort Wayne. Police found a small PVC pipe bomb and other bomb making materials in the home along with several "one pot" meth labs.

Neighbors of the residents said they were shocked. One neighbor, Bryan Costello said, "It's pretty insane to know that that's like literally a stones throw away from you".

The meth suppression team that investigates these types of cases spent the afternoon bringing things out of the home and filling the front yard with different meth making products.

The home is within the Royal Oaks addition, and the neighborhood association has been working with the City of Fort Wayne's Neighborhood Code Enforcement and Fort Wayne Police Department to curb illegal activity, association vice president Penny Evans says. What goes on in each individual home can be the problem without a warrant and law enforcement assistance, Evans adds.

The investigation is ongoing and one man was taken into custody. Charges are currently pending.
