ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- Tuesday evening, parents met with the architect hired by East Allen County Schools to go over redesign plans at Heritage High School.

Leaders with East Allen County Schools say they want input from the community to help shape the future look of the school. Those in favor say it's a cost cutting move. Some of those against are concerned that children of all ages will be too close to one another.

Parent Keven Linker says, "Still have some concerns, especially I think the biggest concern in my mind is the gyms and the lack of gym space as we're collapsing down from losing Hoagland Elementary, losing Monroeville Elementary, the gyms were being used a lot and now all of the sudden we're trying to collapse them into one gym."

Architects hired for the project helped lead the meeting.
